About Me

Background

I grew up in the British countryside on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire. Spent my childhood playing in local woodlands and farmland, and in the school summer holidays spent my days helping the local farmer with the bale cart moving hay on a local farm. In the winter I spent my time with my father cutting and chopping fire wood for our house.
At 16 I left school and got a placement at Sparsholt Agricultural Collage where I studied Gamekeeping. During this time I had a placement at Elton Estates, an estate in Cambridgeshire where I worked doing woodland and wildlife management including conservation work.
After I finished my course I moved back to Buckinghamshire after I was offered a job on West Wycombe Estate working for Sir Francis Dashwood as an underkeeper.
After a while I was head-hunted for a Headkeepers job on an Estate in Marlow Buckinghamshire, where I ended up working for a lovely family running the farm, house and extensive gardens all on my own. I stayed with the family for eight years, before I decided to set up my own gardening business.
In 2008 I moved to Adelaide with my wife, and I worked for a small gardening firm in Adelaide.
I decided in 2014 to start my own gardening business, to provide a professional and friendly gardening service. Offering a more personal service to the people of Adelaide.
